What is IQAC

As the name reflects IQAC - Internal Quality Assurance Cell is a framework for educational institutions to improve their work processes and meet their learning outcomes and objectives. It's a "participative" and "facilitative" unit that would collaborate closely with faculty members, management, stake holders, students, and alumni etc. to devise the most effective techniques.

The primary aim of IQAC is

  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Vision of IQAC

To implement a consistent plan of action that will propel the organisation forward. It necessitates formulating plans for –

  • Academic programmes and research
  •  Efficient and timely work processes
  • Using ICT to modernise education 
  • Having the best assessment procedure to sustain quality 
  • Having the finest infrastructure to fulfil goals

As a result, IQAC evaluates all conceivable variables that have the potential to have a good impact on students and institutions through teaching-learning. Assessment, and improvement may appear to be easy tasks, yet they can make or break a game around.

Functions of IQAC

  1. Setting quality benchmarks through consistent work 
  2. Developing parameters to achieve academic and non-academic learning objectives
  3. Creating a student-centred teaching-learning environment 
  4. Empowering staff to effectively employ edTech resources for educational innovation 
  5. Considering student, faculty, and parent feedback to determine best practises
  6. Organizing a variety of workshops and seminars to improve the educational environment
  7. Keeping track of progress by documenting all activities in chronological sequence.
  8. MIS reports that are 100 percent accurate
  9. Improving the quality of the research and publication.
